I recently read this book and loved it.
Loved it enough that I negotiated Nate into reading it in exchange for me reading one of his books. (Which I surprisingly liked a lot too. Yes Nathan, I'm publicly admitting to liking one of your books.)
After reading this book we decided to come up with our own happiness projects (so far I've procrastinated). For a date, Nathan thought that as part of our happiness projects we could each make our own bucket lists. We were supposed to come up with 30 each and then read them to each other. At first I didn't think I would think up more than 5. We'll still add to them over time and hopefully it will give us something to work towards so we can have a little more fun in our lives.
Liesel's Bucket List:
1. Visit Rome
2.
Take an extended trip out of the country
3.
Snowboard with Nate
4.
Understand another language
5.
Ride a tandem bike
6.
Run in a marathon (any kind will do)
7.
Buy a house
8.
Ride in a hot air balloon
9.
Be debt free
10. Take
a cooking class and a floral arranging class
11. Paint
and decorate a room top to bottom at one time
12. Eat
at an international restaurant (Chinese and Italian excluded)
13. Go
on a mission
14. Get
another degree
15. Swim
in the 7 seas
16. Go
on a cruise with a friend
17. Eat
at Juniors in New York
18. Stay
at a bed and breakfast in Maine
19. Go
on a week-long hike with my family
Brownie point to whoever guesses right-- which one was on Nathan's list too?
