For the last 2 and half years Josie has LOVED being the baby. It's kind of amusing becuase she is SO independent and daring. But she even introduces herself as "Baby Josie Pie." And whenever there's a fight with Kendyl over anything, all you have to do is tell Josie she gets the "baby one" she walks away happy. Baby cookie, baby orange, baby socks, baby hat, baby bowl, baby crayon, baby shovel, baby french fry, baby purse, baby, baby, baby. She occasionally likes to act like a baby and wave her hands in the air or snuggle in my arms while she sings Rock-a-bye Baby. "Kendyl's a big girl. I'm a baby." (*arm waving and baby voice*)
Until this week.
Josie has made it quite clear that she is no longer a baby and scoffs at any baby comparisons. "I'm a big girl like Kendyl!" This might seem like a small thing but for those in the Vasher household it throws our family dynamics completely out of wack. It will take some getting used to having two big girls. I mean really...who gets the smaller cookie now? Oh yeah. That would be me :)
So here's to Big Girl Josie Pie. A baby no more. Somehow she survived it.
(Don't worry, she makes it. And 3 pics down was not related.)
Nate dug a 2 foot deep hole and said, "Josie get in." Standing on the cement ledge she jumped straight in...of course.
We love her.
